MSC 2004 Youth Angler Photos...
The 2004 4th Annual MSC Youth Angler Tournament was held out of Jakes Landing May 15. The kids caught fish, the weather cooperated, the food was great (100 hamburgers and 75 hot dogs were consumed!) and the kids won lots of door prizes. What a great event...made possible by lots of hard work from President Marshall West, Lee Thomas, Lee's wife Kathy and a long list of generous sponsors, including MSC members Dr. Todd Barrett, DMD, Dr. Ben Lanza DPM, Mose Kaughman, Kaufman Construction and others. Thanks to Archie Trawick of Jakes Landing for again hosting us!

1st place was won by Hunter Young with two weighing 15-5. 2nd place and the AC-Delco Voyager Lunker Big Fish Award was won by Alyssa Wessinger with two weighing 15-0. Alyssa's Lunker weighed 9-3. Third place was won by Brianna Baughman with 2 weighing 13-7.
Luke Lynch accepts the Mr. Ed Big Cat Award for the biggest catfish caught in the event.
Getting the Jim Goller Lake Murray Billfish award was Shawn Drennon for his 36-inch garfish.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants!

Last but certainly not least, a big ole MSC cheer for our sponsors, MSC members Dr. Todd Barrett, DMD,
Dr. Ben Lanza D.P.M, Mose Kaughman, Kaufman Construction and others whose generosity made the event possible.
Thanks also to Lee & Kathy, Pres. Marshall and all who pitched in their time and effort to ensure our MSC Youth Anglers had a GREAT time!
Door prizes brought anticipation and smiles...
(Hmmm... is that the "Frito Bandito" with Lee above???)
Even bigger smiles came
with fish attached...and really shows what our effort is all about!
Family, fun and fellowship is always present
at this event as evidenced by Tournament Director Danny Young and his family above, bringing to light the real spirit of MSC!
As always...there was plenty to eat and drink...
...prepared by MSC's master chef Ted Adams, to whom we owe a lot of thanks for all his hard work at every youth and lady angler event we have. Thanks, Ted!
