MSC 2003 Youth Angler Photos...
The 2003 3rd Annual MSC Youth Angler Tournament was held out of Jakes Landing May 17. The kids caught lots of fish, the weather cooperated, the food was great and the kids won lots of door prizes. What a great event...made possible by lots of hard work from President Marshall West, Lee Thomas, Lee's wife Kathy and a long list of generous sponsors, including MSC member Ben Lanza D.P.M, Andrew Spiegel, Spiegel Distributors, Cheer Wine and others. Thanks to Archie Trawick of Jakes Landing for hosting us!
1st place and the Voyager Lunker Big Fish Award was won by Chris Gillian. Chris' two fish weighed 14-9 and his big fish weighed 8-13.
2nd place went to Jorge Garcia fishing his first-ever MSC Youth event. Jorge's two fish totaled 14-2 on the scales.
Rounding out the top three was Clay Shipes with a limit of two weighing in at 13-6.
Beaming for weighing in the Big Cat at 10-8 was Robbie Lindler as father & Co-tournament Director James Lindler looks on.
Making sure the ladies were not out done was Amanda Jennings, whose 44 inch Lake Murray billfish (gar) was the biggest released.
