MSC is a family-oriented fishing club organized to stimulate public awareness of striped bass fishing. We promote sportmanship, conservation and demand adequate water quality. We're based in Columbia, S.C. on beautiful Lake Murray.
Tournaments are held on the third Saturday of each month, with times following safe light conditions. July is usually a night tournament beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m. and ending Saturday at 10:00 a.m. We have a Youth Tournament and a Ladies Tournament annually.
Membership fee is currenty $30 per year for the entire family or $15 after July 1st. If you wish to join, you may download an application form in Adobe Acrobat Reader format here.

Team Catchall was back in the winners’ circle in the MSC August Team night tournament held August 15 & 16 out of Jakes Landing. The team, consisting of Lee Thomas, Craig Frady and Adam Ledford, all from Leesville, along with Michael Spires from Chapin weighed four stripers at 23.9 lbs. to take first place. Team Catchall also caught the Nichols Store of Rock Hill Big Fish, weighing 9.11 lbs.
In second place was the team of Rick Kellemeyer, Bill King, Jim King, and Frank Kelly, all from Chapin, with four weighing 18.10. The team of Dickey Maroney and Beverly Baker, both from Leesville, finished third with four fish totaling 15.5 lbs.
The August event’s Smallest Creel was weighed by God's Team, consisting of Jerry Broughton from Rock Hill, Matt Southard from York and Kevin Rife from Sharon with one fish weighing 2.14 lbs.
