Midlands Striper Club's February Team Tournament was held Saturday, February 20 out of Dorn Facility, Clarks Hill Lake. Congrats to MSC Team Two Guys & a Gizzard and Team Cow Catcher for their performance on what was proved to be a VERY tough day of fishing. 16 teams made the trip to Clarks Hill, but only two caught fish measuring the minimum 21 inch limit required by MSC.
Finishing in1st Place with two fish weighing 8.95 pounds was Team Two Guys and a Gizzard, captained by Cam Littlejohn of Columbia with mate Woody Barnes of Lexington. The team also caught the biggest fish of the event, weighing 5.04 pounds, to take the Nichols Store of Rock Hill Big Fish award.
In 2nd Place was Team Cow Catcher, captained by Rick Kellemeyer of Chapijn with mates James "Fogman" Lindler of West Columbia and Gary Heichelbech of Lexington. No 3rd place was awarded.
L to R: Cam Littlejohn, Woody Barnes, Rick Kellemeyer, Gary Heichelbech and James Lindler.
