Team Landlocked "lands" first place in July boat tournament on Clarks Hill!
        Midlands Striper Club’s July tournament was held from Clarks Hill.  MSC included Clarks Hill in two of it's regularly held 2010 boat events for July and August.  This change was  implemented last year as a conservation effort to  reduce the mortality of short fish caught on Lake Murray during these hot summer months.  Last year both events were non-points tournaments to allow anglers to familiarize themselves with the lake.  This event proved to challenge the best of anglers.  No boats had 4 fish creels with only one boat weighing 3 fish.  We had 30 anglers fishing 12 teams participate in the event with First Place going to Team Landlocked ,Captain Richy Brensinger and Joey Smoak with a total weight of 18lbs 2 ozs and Big Fish at 9 lbs 12 oz.  Second Place for the third straight boat event goes to Team Wildman, Captain Donnie Christopher, Justin Christopher, Danny Young Jerry Broughton and Skip Morgan with a total wieght of 11 lbs 14 ozs..  Finishing in Third Place was Team Nobody, Captain Billy Durant and Van Cook with a total weight of 9 lbs 6 ozs.  The events "Smallest Creel" when to Team 2 Guys & Gizzard, Captain Cam Littlejohn and Woody Barnes.
