Rick Kellemeyer "Surfaces" To Win MSC's
1st Event of 2010...Cole Stout Takes Big Fish
    Midlands Striper Club's January Individual Tournament was held Saturday, January 16, out of Spinner's Resort on Lake Murray. 40 anglers participated in the club event, with 18 anglers weighing 22 fish at the scales.
    Finishing in First Place was Rick Kellemeyer of Chapin with 3 striped bass weighing18 pounds, 5 ounces. In Second Place was 2008 Angler of the Year and past president Danny Young of Sumter with 2 fish weighing 10 pounds, 15 ounces. Rounding out the top three in Third Place was Shawn Gearheart of Lexington, whose 2 stripers weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces.
    The tournament's Nichols Store of Rock Hill Big Fish award went to Cole Stout of Prosperity for his nice 7 pound, 4 ounce striped bass. The Smallest Legal Creel award was won by Brad Pittman of West Columbia.
    MSC's next regular meeting is Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at the Flight deck Restaurant in Lexington. Guests are always welcome.
